Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Elgun Qasimzade ("we", "us", "Ideavo") collects, uses, and protects the personal information of users of the Ideavo mobile application and related backend services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Ideavo is operated by Elgun Qasimzade, an individual based in Azerbaijan. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at elgungasimzadeh@gmail.com.
2. Third-party AI processing — important disclosure
Ideavo's core feature — generating your business-idea validation report — is powered by a third-party AI provider, Anthropic, PBC, via the Claude API. We want you to know this clearly and up front.
What we send to Anthropic: only the wizard answers you fill in on the analysis form — idea name, idea description, idea type, stage, usage details, outcome sentence, target audience, value types, problem solved, current alternatives, monetization plan, who pays, expected use frequency, hardest part, riskiest dependency, evidence gathered, next decision, country/city of the idea's target launch market, and the language you want the report written in.
What we never send to Anthropic: your email address, full name, age, gender, profile photo, ID/verification documents, device location, IP address, push token, payment information, App Store / Google Play receipts, or any data from other users.
Consent: we ask for your explicit permission inside the app before any data is sent to Anthropic. You can decline; if you do, no data is sent and any credit you have stays in your account for future use.
Anthropic's handling: per Anthropic's commercial API Terms of Service, content submitted via the API is not used to train Anthropic's models. Anthropic processes the request, returns the report, and we store the report only in our own database under your account. Anthropic's own privacy practices are at anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
3. Information we collect

4. How we use your information

5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with the following third parties only as needed to operate the Service:

Anthropic processes idea content according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Apple and Google process purchase data according to their respective privacy policies.
6. Data retention and account deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time (see below). Server access logs are retained for 90 days for security purposes.
How to delete your account:
- Inside the app: open the Profile tab → scroll to the bottom → tap Delete account → confirm twice. Deletion takes effect immediately.
- By email: if you no longer have access to the app, email elgungasimzadeh@gmail.com from your registered address and we will delete the account within 30 days.
When you delete your account, your email, full name, profile photo, age, gender, password, identity-verification documents, and notification history are permanently removed. Your idea reports and purchase records are retained in anonymized form (with all personal identifiers stripped) so we can keep accurate product and financial-audit statistics — these anonymized records cannot be linked back to you. After deletion you cannot log back into the deleted account; however, the email address you used is released and may be used to register a new account in the future.
7. Security
We protect your information using industry-standard safeguards: passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes (never plaintext), all data is transmitted over HTTPS, authentication tokens are stored in iOS Keychain / Android Keystore, and our servers enforce strict file permissions and access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
Ideavo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data (most of which you can edit in the app)
- Delete your account and associated data
- Object to certain processing activities
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
To exercise any of these rights, email elgungasimzadeh@gmail.com from the email address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than the country where you reside, including the United States (where Anthropic and Apple operate). We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the new effective date at the top. Material changes will be announced via the app or by email.
